Joined by Arizona Future Caucus Co-Chairs Representative Mark Cardenas and Representative TJ Shope, MAP's State Caucus Network Director, Cherisse Eatmon hosted events at NALEO's 35th Annual Conference.
As a part of the conference's Best Practices Policy Expo, the trio spoke with conference participants about successes and challenges derived from the State Future Caucus Network's model of bipartisan millennial leadership. Discussions highlighted strategies to bridge political divides in all levels of government, connecting with disconnected constituencies, and the path forward for the Arizona Future Caucus.
Conference participants included more than 1,000 elected officials, appointed officials, and policy leaders from across the country including Congressional Future Caucus member Congresswoman Nanette Barragan. The Arizona Future Caucus also hosted an evening networking reception, supported by the Arizona Diamondbacks, for conference attendees and local advocates.
