On August 12, MAP partnered with Brookings Institution, Pew Research Center, and Frameworks Institute for a special edition of our Millennial Mondays Lunch Series. Each organization presented orignial research covering topics from the impact of framing for policy advocacy, to examining some of the most salient political trends among Millennial and Gen Z Americans.
The lunch is part of a larger partnership between MAP and Brookings around building the political will to address long term issues, such as the national debt, climate change, and congressional reform. As younger Americans continue to find their political footing and Millennials are increasingly represented in Congress, there is a need to approach these issues intentionally and build the political will and consensus to affect positive change.
As a continuation of this partnership, Brookings will be hosting a day of programming in September with a series of panels with scholars and members of congress, including and opportunity for congressional staffers participation.
