The Georgia Future Caucus continues to work towards a culture of political cooperation in the great State of Georgia. On March 12th, the Georgia House of Representatives adopted a resolution acknowledging the Georgia Future Caucus, and their commitment to transcend tribalism, by way of the Millennial Action Project, the State Future Caucus Network, and Serve Together: National Week of Post-Partisan Action. Led by Representatives Jasmine Clark (D-108) and Colton Moore (R-1) the Caucus will address issues disproportionately affecting future generations.

A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Georgia Future Caucus; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Millennial Action Project is the largest national nonpartisan organization, activating young leaders in Congress and state legislatures across the country to transcend political polarization; and
WHEREAS, the State Future Caucus Network fosters bipartisan dialogue and expertise exploration among state legislators who are dedicated to advancing future-oriented solutions to issues facing millennials and future generations; and
WHEREAS, the Georgia Future Caucus, led by Representatives Jasmine Clark and Colton Moore, is a group of young legislators committed to working toward a culture of political cooperation in the great State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, activities and issues of the Georgia Future Caucus are focused on bipartisan approaches to issues affecting future generations; and
WHEREAS, during the week of February 17–21, 2020, the Georgia Future Caucus participated in the National Week of Post-Partisan Action, marked by young leaders moving beyond partisan divides to usher in a new era of collaboration and innovative approaches to policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Georgia Future Caucus for its efforts to lead on issues critical to the future of this state.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Georgia Future Caucus.
