The first meetings of MAP’s Criminal Justice Reform Advisory Council were held on May 26th, and June 23rd.

MAP convened experts from across the Criminal Justice Reform landscape to give legislators the tools to understand and collaborate on justice reinvestment policies.

MAP and the Justice Action Network partnered to host this webinar for freshman state legislators to inform them of what actions states have taken to tackle problems in our criminal justice system.

Expert panelists discussed innovative solutions to combat recidivism including getting the right people at the table, collectively reviewing data, understanding the success stories of those who don’t recidivate, and asking questions about funding.

MAP virtually convened legislators and experts around an important topic within criminal justice reform: sentencing.

The Millennial Action Project (MAP) convened the introductory meeting of our new Criminal Justice Reform Advisory Council. The Advisory Council was created as the first step of MAP’s with our criminal justice reform initiative.
