State Rep. Bill G. Schuette (R-Midland) represented Michigan at a Millennial Action Project conference in early August to discuss the future of the nation and the challenges it will face.
The Future Summit is the largest bipartisan convening of young state legislators, according to the MAP website. Over 80 legislators from across the country were invited to attend the conference for millennial and Generation Z lawmakers.
The conference was held from Aug. 9 through 12 on the campus of Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. While at the conference, the young legislators were able to discuss shared experiences and policy ideas as well as attend sessions with national policy experts who shared insights on the various challenges and topics facing the future of America.
