“If you care about addressing the root cause of [an issue], you have to change public policies. It’s not enough to keep cleaning up the river next to your high school over and over again. Let’s find out why that river was polluted in the first place.”
— Steven Olikara, MAP President and Co-Founder

Millennial Action Project President Steven Olikara recently joined a conversation hosted by New America and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund for an in-depth look at how millennials will shift the political landscape and chart a more sustainable course for American politics post-November. Moderated by Stephen Heintz from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and Mark Gerzon of the Mediators Foundation, the panel discussion was held at Civic Hall in New York City. Steven joined panelists Laquan Austion of Action for America, Courtlyn Carpenter from BridgeCU, Jacob Davis of the U.S. Army, and Erik Fogg from ReConsider Media.
