FRAMINGHAM — Some of the youngest members of the state Legislature shared their insights Friday into the concerns of their generation at a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters.
Three freshmen lawmakers who took office in January and a state senator who was sworn in last year discussed the obstacles they faced winning election as youthful politicians.
Speaking at the Sheraton in Framingham, the panelists — all in their 20s or 30s — also talked about the challenge of engaging millennials in politics, a problem each encountered while campaigning last year.
