BENTONVILLE, Ark. —
Republican Rep. Aaron Pilkington and Democratic Rep. Jamie Scott spoke at a panel on Wednesday night held by the Arkansas Future Caucus.
The caucus is a part of a group known as the Millennial Action Project.
The project is dedicated to bringing together millennial and gen Z policymakers to govern as one.
“While we're facing things from different angles, coming at them from a left and right," Pilkington said. "There's somewhere we can find a solution together."
Pilkington and Scott spoke to a crowd of around 25 people.
“We're never leaving our Democratic and Republican values," Scott said. "We are just trying to be a champion for those common solutions that are issues here in Arkansas.”
