The first meetings of MAP’s Criminal Justice Reform Advisory Council were held on May 26th, and June 23rd.
The conversation, part of MAP’s National Week of Post-Partisan Action, was moderated by MAP’s State Caucus Network Director Jennifer Blemur. Joining Jennifer were Alaska State Representative Sara Rasmussen, Oklahoma State Representative Ajay Pittman, and MAP’s Executive Director and COO Layla Zaidane.
On Tuesday, September 22nd, the 30th MAP State Future Caucus was launched in Oklahoma. The launch consisted of a brief press conference in which the new Oklahoma Future Caucus’ co-chairs described how they came to learn about the State Future Caucus Network and why they believed that Oklahoma was ripe ground for a new SFC.
Two Oklahoma Future Caucus members, Rep. Daniel Pae (R) and Rep. Ajay Pittman (D) have been selected to attend Millennial Action Project's Future Summit, a conference for the country's most promising, effective young lawmakers.
