Michigan Future Caucus
On Wednesday, March 14, Representatives Abdullah Hammoud (D-15) and Jim Lilly (R-89) announced the creation of the MI Future Caucus, which aims to solve these problems by focusing on people over party. The two co-chairs were joined by nearly twenty young elected officials at the Michigan State House to launch the initiative.

Rep. Jim Lilly, R–Park Township, will co-chair a new bipartisan caucus with the goal of engaging young people.The MI Future Caucus is made up of 50 legislators under the age of 40 with the goal of breaking through the partisan divide and focusing on generational issues to unite legislators, according to a press release from the Michigan House of Representative.

(Lansing, MI) Today, Representatives Abdullah Hammoud (D-15) and Jim Lilly (R-96) announced the creation of the bipartisan MI Future Caucus, a brand-new caucus comprised of state legislators under age 40. With the launch, Michigan becomes the 23rd state to join Millennial Action Project’s national State Future Caucus Network.
